Andrea Bruno Art Studio
About the Artist
Elisabeth Kelvin paints what she hears and plays what she sees. A self-determined and interdisciplinary teacher, performer, composer, and visual artist, Elisabeth fosters an interdisciplinary approach to every aspect of musical and artistic development. Regular performance, composition, and painting practices invigorate her unique palette of colours, rhythms, improvisations and compositions. Art informs music and music informs art.
Polyphonic Visions explores the shared distinctions between art and music. Titan Chunky Compositions, Elisabeth’s partnership with John Plankenhorn, will supplement the exhibition with an Opening Night Performance, a Workshop, and a Solo Performance-discussion.

Elisabeth participates in group art exhibitions and competitions in N.S.W. including Tamworth Regional Art Gallery, Armidale Art Society, Gamillarart Gallery Cooperative, Waverley Art Exhibition, North Sydney Art Prize, and Frost Over Barraba Art Show. Works have been sold to private collectors and small business owners. Pieces are also currently on display at Crossroads Restaurant and the hotel foyer of Tamworth Towers. Elisabeth's first solo exhibition, Hanging Ten, Tamworth, 2007, investigated the relationship between abstract art and contemporary music.
